The Future of Sustainability Data

Sustainability is rapidly becoming a data driven discipline due to increasing demands from regulation, reporting and to assess sustainability performance as well as communicate this transparently to empower consumers to make informed choices. Currently data is being generated and transferred in many different ways which is becoming increasingly chaotic. To reduce complexity, a harmonised approach would be beneficial and the industry has developed and tested approaches to generate and communicate this data. In this session, we will discuss what sustainability data is, why it is needed, and discuss what best practice looks like in the outdoor industry.
