The New Zealand outdoor brand, Kathmandu, drew on its experience in designing hiking backpacks to create this rolling case, using a design principle that emphasises lightness and stability. The triangular, grid-shaped Lattice structure in the hard shell saves weight and gives the pack a high degree of torsional rigidity. The shell is only 2.6 millimetres thick, yet it is extremely stable and durable. Such a lightweight makes it easy to carry, and glide effortlessly over cobblestones.
Kathmandu uses 93 per cent recycled nylon 6 and combines it with recycled UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene). UHMWPE is highly resistant to tearing and abrasion, meaning the trolley is highly durable and ensures an extended lifespan. All other details have been designed with weight and practicality in mind, including a mono handle that can be adjusted to three different lengths.
The design offers maximum storage space for a carry-on size, with a volume of 40 litres. The 15" laptop compartment and zipped pockets make the trolley the perfect travel companion for a variety of adventures.
The product is specifically targeted at those looking for a lightweight travel option and is designed to meet the needs of the modern traveller. The Feather Flight is available in a range of colour options including Black Stingray, Dark Eddy and Hut Orange.
