As every year, the Retail Trend Forum invites its participants to an exchange of knowledge and transfer of know-how about digital trends in retail. On October 7 and 8, 2020, numerous retailers and retail experts met at the LSTNR Space in Frankfurt am Main to jointly experience the new possibilities and opportunities in the industry.

One of the important items on the agenda is the cooperation with ISPO Digitize and ISPO Munich 2021, where organizer Daniel Schnödt (Teamsico) and his partner Marcus Meyer will offer the TrendLAB Retail (https://www.trendforum-retail.de/trendlab/) a platform that aims to support retailers with individual solutions to map the customer journey and reach customers in a targeted manner - a real point of experience.

Innovative concepts and systems must be experienced in order to really understand them. Only one solution is not enough to achieve long-term success in retail. In TrendLAB Retail, the areas of life of customers and retail situations are built up and various technologies and solutions are made tangible in real interaction. On a curated platform, the retailer, planner, integrator or specialist retailer experiences the innovative and successful tools and solutions in action and can thus decide on the basis of a real experience what his customers' customer journey will be in the future.

"We are particularly pleased to make our TrendLAB Retail experience accessible to visitors during ISPO Munich 2021. In cooperation with ISPO Digitize we present innovations, experience applications, retail as a service and CRM solutions to further develop the retail industry and make it fit for the future. We are sure that there is no OneFitsAll, but that the individual toolkit has to be developed for each retailer. TrendLAB Retail is the place where solutions can be experienced and tried out. Only with this experience and in dialogue can the right toolkit be put together".
Daniel Schnödt - Organizer Trend Forum Retail
"We are pleased that we have been able to win a strong partner for ISPO Digitize with the Retail Trend Forum. The TrendLAB Retail platform ideally complements the content of ISPO Digitize and shows innovations and applications with high relevance for the retail industry. Thus, within the framework of ISPO Digitize we are able to depict innovation & digitization along the entire value chain.
Christoph Rapp - International Sales & Retail Manager ISPO

The highlights of the forum in its third year include numerous digital trendsetters from trade and industry, the necessary integrators and a special with the start-up scene from the Retail Tech Accelerator Plug And Play from Munich. This year again, organizer Daniel Schnödt (Teamscio) will be able to present an interesting array of speakers: Among the speakers this time are Sebastian Deppe (BBE Munich), Marcus Diekmann and Thorsten Heckrath-Rose (Rose Bikes), Matt Druyen (König Objekt Consulting), Kai Hudetz (IFH Cologne) and Michael Volland (Realtate & Vaund)

As in the two previous years, the first day will begin with a store tour in Frankfurt, focusing on successful retail concepts. "Give the customer a reason to come, give the customer a reason to stay and give the customer a reason to talk about it," Daniel Schnödt gives as a guideline. In the evening, ten inspiring start-ups in the retail sector will introduce themselves. The spectacle will be accompanied by the interactive, worldwide first e-sport augmented reality experience of Hado.
