Both Rossignol and Dale of Norway have both set great store by tradition, combined with new technology and creative development, said Rossignol CEO Bruno Cercley. Hilde Midthjell, owner and CEO of Dale is proud of the deal: "She also emphasised that the Rossignol Group and Dale have many things in common: "Rossignol has committed itself to the same values as we have," said Midthjell "and is the ideal partner for Dale".

The Rossignol Group has been majority owned by the Nordic focused Private Equity Altor since 2013. Dale-CEO Hilde Midthjell said she couldn't think of a better owner: "Dale's very capable employees will get the best owner who will take them and the Dale brand to a new level."

Bruno Cercley: "Truly excited to welcome Dale"

Dale looks back on 140 years of tradition, Rossignol on 110 years. Both companies share the same vision of combining tradition with new and modern fashion," said Cercley, "I am excited to welcome Dale. Knitwear is an integral part of our Rossignol apparel line-up, and the addition of Dale is highly complementary".

"I look forward to expand our common apparel business through shared know-how, new product development and global distribution", said the Rossignol CEO about the company's plans for the future.

As early as 2015, Rossignol expanded its range of textiles by founding its subsidiary Rossignol Apparel. The Rossignol Group also includes Dynastar, Lange, Look, Time Sport, Raidlight, Felt, Rispot and Kerma.

Dale is headquartered in Dalekvam, Norway, and manufactures 100% wool products. The company employs 62 people in Norway and in its sales office in the USA.
