A win-win situation for end customers, ski rental staff and ski shop owners is promised by the innovative SkiClicker™ Sole, which will be presented at ISPO Munich 2020 with new accompanying products. The SkiClicker™ Sole makes binding adjustment much easier. "The handy tool replaces the ski boot during adjustment and speeds up the workflow by up to 40 percent," explains Andreas Persson, founder and Sales Manager of the Swedish company No More Boots AB, which owns and manufactures the SkiClicker™ products.
No More Boots was founded in 2015 and focuses on products designed to optimize ski rental processes worldwide. The SkiClicker™ Sole was the company's first product and has been patented throughout Europe since early 2019. No More Boots aims to increase customer satisfaction, improve working conditions for staff and help shop owners increase their earnings. "The SkiClicker™ Sole has been in use since the winter of 2018/19," says Andreas Persson. "The feedback so far has been fantastic."
This success is motivation enough for No More Boots to expand its product portfolio at ISPO Munich 2020. Thus, in addition to the SkiClicker™ Sole Senior for adults, the SkiClicker™ Sole Junior for children and teenagers is now being launched on the market. In addition, the Swedes will present the SkiClicker™ Boot Analyzer, which further perfects the process of binding adjustment and further completes the SkiClicker™ product family.
SkiClicker™ Sole is an easy-to-use ski tool whose length is adjusted to the customer's ski boot size with millimeter precision. This eliminates the need for ski shop staff to use customer ski boot for binding adjustment, saving staff time that can now be used for other purposes, such as customer service. Especially in the ski rental business in the morning, when it gets hectic at peak times, this tool also brings advantages for the customer: Skiers no longer has to take off the ski boot after the fitting during the rental process.
With the new SkiClicker™ Boot Analyzer, No More Boots now further optimizes the process. "Measure - Scan - Adjust" is the trinity of the SkiClicker™ workflow: Before the season starts, the Boot Analyzer measures the sole length of all rental ski boots accurately. This ski boot size is implemented in the barcode. During the season you scan the barcode on the ski boot before binding adjustment. The computer screen or scanner shows the correct sole length. The employee then adjusts the SkiClicker™ Sole with millimeter precision and finally adjusts the binding in a safe way.
"For rental customers, this accelerated process is a great relief," explains Andreas Persson. "Skiers no longer has to take off the ski boot after the fitting during the rental process, and get wet socks before heading for the slopes". The advantages for shop owners are also obvious, the Swede emphasizes: "They benefit from a more efficient workflow. Everything goes faster, which also shortens the queues in front of the counter. That means less stress for employees and customers". In addition, the SkiClicker™ Sole, thanks to its handlebar and weight, is more ergonomic to handle and up to 70% lighter than a ski boot. The handlebar also makes it easier to work with the ski when waxing or edge grinding. All this improves the working conditions for the employees. "And for the shopkeeper, it all adds up to increased earnings," says Persson. "After all, no customer will turn away because he has to wait too long." The feedback so far has been very good: "The staff enjoy working with the SkiClicker™ Sole”.
This is confirmed by Gustav Olsson from the rental shop Skistar in Åre, Sweden: "By working with the SkiClicker™ Sole we save a lot of time, both for our staff and for our customers". Henning Solum from First Descent in Bad Gastein takes the same view: "We like working with the SkiClicker™ Sole because it makes the entire rental process easier and faster. The end result is higher customer satisfaction. Our staff can no longer imagine working without the SkiClicker™ Sole".
The SkiClicker™ ski rental concept is suitable for shops of all sizes, from small family-run shops to large chains. It is also compatible with any rental software, so that the rental company can work with its preferred set-up.
No More Boots distributes the SkiClicker™ products on the Scandinavian market itself. In Sweden, all major rental companies and ski shops such as Skistar, Åre Skidsport and the Branäs Group use the SkiClicker™ Sole. For other markets No More Boots today collaborates with distributors: In Europe with Reichmann & Sohn GmbH, in Japan with the Scimente Corporation and in New Zealand and Australia with Boardroom. The Swedes want to conquer the North American market from the 2020/21 season.
"You are welcome to come to our stand at ISPO Munich 2020, try out our innovative concept and learn about its advantages", Andreas Persson invites all interested ski dealers and rental companies to meet at ISPO Munich. "We strongly believe that SkiClicker™ will revolutionize and facilitate the rental process for skiers, employees and shop owners". No More Boots AB can be found during ISPO Munich 2020 in hall B5, booth 526.
