Jürgen Siegwarth, the new Ortlieb CEO, knows the sporting goods industry inside out.

Ortlieb Sportartikel GmbH has found a successor for its longstanding sales and marketing director Wolfgang Paulus: Jürgen Siegwarth brings a wealth of experience from his stations at Meindl, Deuter and Hanwag, where he last worked as Managing Director.

Siegwarth takes over Paulus' tasks

Like Wolfgang Paulus before, Siegwarth will take care of marketing and sales, while company owner Hartmut Ortlieb will continue to be responsible for technology and production.

In the summer of 2017, Paulus had said goodbye to the bag specialist after almost 25 years.

“I am very much looking forward to this new task and the associated challenge. Ortlieb is a great company: 100% Made in Germany, owner-managed and with a long-term vision. I am convinced that we will continue to write Ortlieb's success story.“
Jürgen Siegwarth
“Jürgen and I have known each other for ages and appreciate each other very much. With him we have gained an experienced expert for Ortlieb, on whose knowledge we trust and from whose experience we will undoubtedly benefit. I wish him every success for the work ahead of us and look forward to working with him.“
Hartmut Ortlieb

ISPO Munich 2018 dedicates four halls to the outdoor industry. An overview of the grounds can be found in our hall plan.
