The Alpspitzpark in Nesselwang (former Snowpark Nesselwang) creates a real big city feeling with creative obstacles like an old American taxi or the police station. The park is highly varied and offers a large selection of kickers, boxes, rails, and wallrides for every level. There’s also a cozy chill area, of course, and thanks to its fantastic setup, the park is the venue for numerous events throughout the season.

Penken Park has been beckoning snowboarders and freeskiers from all over the world to the Ziller valley for 20 years now, and is partly responsible for Mayrhofen becoming a hotspot for international snowboarders. This gigantic snowpark consists of eight perfectly shaped lines, which are divided in: Pro Area, Advanced Area, Advanced Jib Area, Medium Area, Medium Jib Area, Fun Area, Beginner Area, and Fun Ride Penken. Everyone will find numerous obstacles to learn new tricks or spend an action-packed day in the park with their friends.

Absolut Park is also celebrating 20 years! The snowpark in the ski region of Flachauwinkl not only scores points with an unbelievable variety of obstacles and kickers, but above all with its size. As one of the largest terrain parks in the world, the park reaches over a good 1.5 kilometers in length, offering something for every skill level with over 100 features. Special highlights are the halfpipe and the Burton Stash Park, where wooden obstacles are integrated into the natural terrain.

The European snowboard and freestyling mecca is located in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, more precisely in Laax. They are always a little ahead of their time there, and have created a very special ski resort. The core of the whole thing is the Snowpark Laax, consisting of four parks with a total of over 90 obstacles. The parks are designed for different ability levels. The Pro area contains the longest superpipe in the world and an Olympic-sized kicker line, attracting pros from all over the globe. Another of Laax’s highlights is the Freestyle Academy, an indoor base with trampolines and skate ramps.

The snowpark on the Hochkönig mountain stretches over almost the entire length of the 8-seater Kings Cab cable car, and thus makes for tired legs and smiling faces. With numerous boxes, rails, and wallrides, jib fun does not go neglected. Of course, the 1.8 kilometer-long line also includes kickers in every imaginable size, so both professionals and beginners can work on their tricks.

The park is maintained by a professional Q-Parks shape crew and offers plenty of space for beginners and advanced riders to let off steam.

In the Lower Engadine, freestylers such as Olympic athlete Elena Könz are drawn to the Snowpark Scuol. The park keeps getting better from year to year, and can now easily keep up with the renowned parks. More than 20 obstacles consisting of various rails and boxes, as well as kickers of all sizes, allow you to let your creativity run free. The Q-Parks crew is responsible for the setup and takes care of the park with a lot of love.

The FIS Snowboard Slopestyle World Cup takes place every year in Kreischberg, Styria. The park offers optimal conditions for freestylers of all skill levels, and scores points with good obstacles and a relaxed atmosphere. The setup of fun boxes, pipes, rails, a fun pipe, and kickers is varied and testifies to the fact that action is also offered outside the Alpine hotspots.

In this park in Wildhaus, the fun is clearly in the foreground. The guys and gals of the freestyle platform Snowland.ch do everything to make everyone feel comfortable here. The twenty or so obstacles are varied and divided into a beginner, medium, and pro line. Snowland.ch also offers events, freestyle and avalanche courses, a party series, and a chill area with a ping pong table and BBQ station.
