The development of eSports does not stop at racing simulations. In the Porsche Esports Supercup a total of 40 drivers have been competing against each other in an international competition since 13 April to determine the best in their class. In cooperation with the online racing simulator iRacing, the drivers compete in a total of 10 online events consisting of a qualifying, a sprint and a main race for a total prize money of $100,000.
The winner of the Porsche Esports Supercup can also look forward to a special honour: At this year's "Night of Champions" Gala, Porsche not only honours the teams and drivers of motor sport, but also awards the prizes to the virtual racing drivers at the same time.
