As in other triathlons the children compete in the following three disciplines:
- Swimming: The competition takes place at the pool inside Shanghai New International Expo Center from 12:00–13:30. (15 meters per lap)
- Biking: The track is outside the N2 building of the Expo Center. There are two startblocks: 10:00–11:30 and 14:00–17:00. (1200 meters per lap)
- Running: As well as the cycling route the running is also outside the N2 building of the Expo Center. There are two startblocks: 10:00–11:30 and 14:00–17:00. (500 meters per lap)
What to bring for the event:
- Mandatory: swim suit or tri-suit, goggles, bike, bike helmet, closed-toe running shoes, running clothes
- Optional: kickboard (under eight years only), sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and towel
