AFYDAD

AFYDAD is a national, professional non-profit organization founded in 1968. The association welcomes all companies dedicated to the manufacture, distribution, importation or sale of all sorts of sports materials or articles, leisure activities and camping. AFYDAD comprises around 100 companies that represent 250 brands in the sport sector.  You can find all the members here.

AFYDAD is an active member of FESI, the Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry, enabling us to stay abreast of the latest news and to influence any laws and regulations created within the EU in relation to the sporting goods industry. We are also members of the EOG, the European Outdoor Group.

On the 29th November AFYDAD celebrated a big party at Esferic Barcelona to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Association surrounded by the Spanish sport sector. During the celebration, the attendances had the opportunity to meet the former presidents since the origin of the association SEAD and its merger with Asesport to create AFYDAD. The current president Andrés de la Dehesa explained the projects for the future of the Association. The companies enjoyed a dinner cocktail and live music in a great atmosphere for the networking. The Association started the year celebrating its anniversary during the popular Spanish Evening at ISPO Munich 2018, where AFYDAD has awarded by ISPO for its long presence at the event. AFYDAD exhibits every year at ISPO Munich with a group of Spanish companies. Besides the companies located in the Spanish Outdoor Village there are companies in different halls. The event was sponsored by ISPO.
