The Convert, made by the Denver-based start-up Ross Snow Tech, wants to make this task easier, more comfortable and faster: The light snowboard binding from Ross Snow Tech can be quickly and easily detached from the base plate and in just a few steps turns into a fully-fledged snowshoe. Thanks to the ingenious folding and closing mechanism, this is meant to work without tools or additional parts.
