Peruvian alpacas are used to extreme weather in their natural habitat in the Andes: frost, sun, rain and icy wind. They are protected from it all by their remarkable wool. The start-up Arms of Andes uses wool from alpacas living in the wild to make functional T-shirts, underwear, hoodies and more. The clothing is equally comfortable to wear whether it’s hot or cold. The fine fibers absorb almost no water - neither rain nor sweat. And due to the wool’s antibacterial properties, Arms of Andes clothing stays fresh even after being worn for long periods.
