Andrea Lauterbach is a trained TV editor, journalist and biologist. From 1998 to 2004, she studied biology in Erlangen and Munich with research stops in Australia and Canada. Her main areas of study were anthropology and human genetics, neurobiology and psychology. She completed her TV traineeship at the science magazine "Welt der Wunder", where she was able to combine editorial skills with her knowledge from her scientific studies.Andrea has been working as a presenter, editor, author, producer and director since 2004. She has been self-employed since January 2009. Over 150 film contributions for various formats and corporate
clients have been produced under her pen.
Since 2017, she has regularly appeared live on "Wir in Bayern" (4:15-5:30 pm) on BR Fernsehen and brings viewers closer to the many facets of Bavaria. She recently hosted her 450th episode for "Wir in Bayern.“ Andrea also regularly moderates various panels and events.
