    More than 400 exhibitors representing 682 brands and approximately 30,000 trade visitors and key opinion leaders (KOLs) took part in ISPO Beijing and Alpitec China held at the China International Exhibition Center (CIEC) from January 16 to 19, 2019. This year, the most important sports trade fair in the Asia-Pacific region was jam-packed with numerous forums, trends and innovative products and services relating to winter sports, outdoors, health & fitness, and manufacturing & suppliers. Soccer also featured for the first time.

    Each year, ISPO Munich (February 3–6, 2019) attracts more than 2,800 international exhibitors and over 80,000 industry professionals to the Bavarian capital. Trade visitors get an exclusive overview at the highlights of the upcoming sporting year. Since 2018, end consumers have also been able to take advantage of the trade fair: ISPO Munich Sports Week (February 2–9, 2019) brings the passion for sports to downtown Munich and invites sports enthusiasts to take part in and try out numerous events. A highlight of the sports week is the ISPO Munich Night Run presented by BUFF®, which takes place on February 2 at the Olympic Park.

    More international companies than ever before registered for ISPO Textrends 2019, the forum for performance textiles, accessories and trims for the sports and outdoor market. An international jury of textile experts selected the "Best Products", "Top Ten" and "Selection" products in ten categories. These will be presented at the ISPO Textrends Forum at ISPO Beijing in January and ISPO Munich in February 2019.

    The ISPO Award is regarded as a well-established seal of quality and approval for outstanding products in the sports industry. The 2019 winners have now been chosen. An independent international jury of experts have chosen the winners in the five segments Health & Fitness, Outdoor, Snowsports, Team & Social Sports, and Urban from amongst several hundreds of entries. Various trends are emerging in terms of the digital connectivity of sports products, the area of modern high-tech materials and the sustainability of functional clothing and footwear. A selection of the award-winning products will be showcased from February 3 to 6, 2019 at ISPO Munich in Hall B1.

    The range of skiing activities has never been so expansive: Winter sports enthusiasts can choose from all sorts of innovative and traditional activities, including carving, freeskiing, ski touring and Alpine skiing. Each of these activities will be brought together in one special skiing hall at ISPO Munich (February 3–6, 2019).     The digital transformation within the sports industry will be one of the hot topics at ISPO Munich 2019 (February 3 to 6) and for the second time ever will be given its very own dedicated area at the world’s leading trade fair for the sports business in the form of the ISPO Digitize Arena. Since it was launched in 2018, ISPO Digitize is the trend and innovation platform through which digital experts inform sports retailers and manufacturers about digital products, services and market opportunities. For the first time ever, ISPO Digitize will also enable visitors to experience the world of eSports. The ISPO Academy will also address the topic of digitalization as part of its program.

    ISPO Beijing 2019 will open its doors from January 16–19. About 400 exhibitors representing 700 brands are expected for the 15th anniversary of the fair at its new location, the China International Exhibition Center (CIEC). They will present their latest products and technologies in the areas of winter sports, outdoors and health & fitness to the specialist audience. One of this year’s highlights is the partnership with Germany’s top professional soccer league, the Bundesliga. A number of leading clubs in the league will also attend the fair, which will be complemented by a variety of talks, podium discussions and forums.
