Biography

Prof. Köhler has an impressive academic career. After studying nutritional sciences at the University of Hohenheim, he completed his doctorate at the German Sport University Cologne. In 2019, Karsten Köhler was appointed Professor of Exercise, Nutrition and Health at the Technical University of Munich. His research is mainly concerned with the effects of nutrition and exercise on the human body, with a particular focus on energy balance, metabolism and the health of athletes.
