Sports for Nature - How athletes and sports industry can contribute to ecosystem restoration conservation

Plant-for-the-Planet is an international organization dedicated to the restoration and conservation of global forest ecosystems to combat the climate crisis. Founded by the nine-year-old Felix Finkbeiner, the organization now operates a free platform with more than 275 projects worldwide. It also supports research projects and offers free restoration advice and IT tools. Another core effort is education and the empowerment of young people through workshops and campaigns. Together with politics, economy and society Plant-for-the-Planet is actively working towards a sustainable future. Especially athletes and the sports industry are important partners, as they value intact nature and are therefore dependent on climate protection, too.
