Inspired by Nature: Circular Material Innovations for a Sustainable Transformation

What are the latest developments of sustainable and innovative materials and how can they drive sustainable transformation? In this session, we will dive into best practice examples for circular materials and discuss their development journeys, potential and current challenges. We are going to explore bio-based textile fibres, biodegradable biopolymers and circular technologies; a variety of innovative materials made from biowaste from walnut shells, agricultural byproducts such as pineapple leaves and hemp residue, wood chips and sunflowers. We will look at examples from our Material Lab exhibition and will explore use cases for the sports industry and discuss the way forward for innovative circular materials.
