Winner of the ISPO Award 2024: ALLIED Feather + Down 1000 fill power ExpeDRY ultra light weight down parka

Lightweight is the keyword for this jacket. ALLIED Feather + Down uses an extremely rare, traceable down with 1000 fill power and combines it with an ultralight Pertex fabric, which is one of the lightest fabrics available. 

To ensure that the down retains its function in all conditions and does not clump together when wet, losing some of its insulating capacity, the down has been treated with the company’s own ExpeDRY technology. ExpeDRY is ALLIED’s new innovative and disruptive ultra dry down featuring FUZE® technology for a chemical free alternative to traditional hydrophobic-treated down. 

ExpeDRY works by permanently and chemically bonding non-toxic gold particles to the down clusters, which promotes the evaporation of water molecules, allowing the down to dry faster and stay dry even in high humidity and extreme conditions. This contributes to a drier insulation chamber because the evaporation rate is faster than the down's absorption rate in almost all real-life situations. In this way, the technology also helps moisture from the inside, such as sweat from strenuous activity, to dry faster and provide better heat regulation. 

All ALLIED down is traceable to the consumer at TrackMyDown.com. This is made possible by an ID number attached to each product. The winning product, for example, shows that the down comes from Europe, mainly southern Hungary and Romania, and was processed at the company's headquarters in Los Angeles, USA. TrackMyDown is no stranger to success: ALLIED Feathers' tracking system won an ISPO award in 2018.  

The jacket is designed as a unisex jacket and is available since October 2024.
