GTS | Neuroathletic training - a new perspective on requirement profiles in sport

While discipline coaches focus on performance management, technical coordination and the development of tactical skills, and athletic trainers develop the specific physical skills of athletes, neuroathletic training looks at the demands that a sport places on the movement-controlling instances of the brain. In this lecture, the basic concepts and principles will be presented using illustrative practical examples.\n The question here is: What information does the athlete's brain need to be able to optimally assess their own movement and the consequences of a given task? To this end, the incoming sensory information and functional neuroanatomy are placed at the forefront of the work.
